After mons pubis surgery

  1. The day after surgery

    Put on a waterproof dressing before you shower.

    • Until the stitches are removed, put a waterproof dressing on the surgical area, and shower from the day after surgery.
    • Medicine is prescribed for 5 to 7 days. Stop at once and call us if you feel heartburn, retching or nausea.

  2. One month

    Wear the girdle you have brought.

    Wear the girdle you have brought for one month to help the skin settle after liposuction.

  3. Every 2 to 3 weeks

    You will need Triam injections.

    • This area has about 5 to 6 times more fibrous tissue than fat elsewhere, so after surgery it can swell up or harden. To manage this, you will need Triam injections (every 2 to 3 weeks).
    • The standard course is 3 injections, but more may be needed depending on your condition.

  4. Visit schedule

    Visits are planned for 7 or 10 days after surgery, then about 3 times at 2-week intervals.

  5. Daily life

    Please keep to these in daily life.

    • No alcohol, smoking, public baths, jjimjilbang, saunas or sex for 4 weeks (one month).
